Let’s Make Your Ink Dreams Come True!

The price of a tattoo depends on a few things:

  • Size: Bigger tattoos take more time and cost more.

  • Design: More detailed designs may be pricier than simple ones.

  • Placement: Some body parts are more difficult to tattoo and may cost more, like the ribs or hands. Areas like the upper arm or thigh are usually less expensive.

PRICES:

  • Minimum: $80

  • Session: $150 Per Hour

Prepare for Your Session

  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water the 24 hours leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin takes ink much better!

  • Eat a Full Meal: Don't come in on an empty stomach. Eat a solid meal 1–2 hours before your session to keep your blood sugar stable.

  • Dress Comfortably: Wear loose clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. (Expect that some ink might get on your clothes, so don't wear your favorite white shirt!)

  • Rest Up: Get a good night's sleep. Being well-rested helps your body manage the discomfort and the healing process.

  • Skip the Alcohol: Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session, as it thins your blood and can affect the tattooing process.

  • Bring ID: You must have a valid, government-issued photo ID to get inked.

To ensure you have the best experience and the best heal, please follow these steps before arriving at Streets Meet Art:

Healing & Aftercare

Healing & Aftercare 〰️

Your tattoo is an investment—how you treat it in the first two weeks determines how it looks for the rest of your life. Follow these steps for a perfect heal:

  • The First Few Hours: Keep your bandage on for the amount of time recommended by your artist (usually 2–4 hours). If we used Second Skin/Saniderm, leave it on for 3–5 days unless it leaks or irritates your skin.

  • Wash Gently: Use your clean hands, warm water, and unscented, antibacterial soap (like Dial Gold). Pat dry with a clean paper towel—do not rub.

  • Moisturize Lightly: After 24–48 hours, apply a very thin layer of unscented lotion (like Lubriderm or Cetaphil) or a specific tattoo balm. If the tattoo looks shiny or greasy, you’ve used too much.

  • Hands Off: Your tattoo will itch and peel—do not pick or scratch it. You will pull the ink out of your skin and cause scarring.

  • Avoid the Water: No swimming, hot tubs, or soaking in the bathtub for at least 2 weeks. Normal showering is fine.

  • Stay Out of the Sun: Keep your new ink out of direct sunlight during the healing process. Once fully healed, always use SPF 50+ to prevent fading.

  • Watch for Infection: Some redness and swelling are normal. However, if you notice extreme pain, spreading redness, or a fever, contact a medical professional immediately.

Free touch-ups are only valid if the aftercare instructions were followed correctly!
